About Sejin

"I've spent my entire life walking into rooms where I didn't know the rules yet."

Born in Japan. Raised in California until I was nine. Moved back to Tokyo barely speaking the language. By the time I graduated from Sophia University, Japanese was my primary language and English felt foreign again.

Then I moved to New York at 23. Started over. Again.

I've been in B2B telecom for over a decade now — designing multi-carrier solutions, building pricing tools that cut proposal cycles in half, and managing the kind of complex, multi-site deployments that most people don't want to touch. SD-WAN, DIA, UCaaS, MPLS — I speak the language of carriers and translate it into something enterprise clients can actually act on.

I'm not the loudest person in the room. But I'm usually the one who figured out how the room works.

What I Do

Where Strategy Meets Technology

A decade of hands-on experience across the full telecom stack — from design to deployment to billing audit.

Solution Design

Multi-carrier architecture for enterprise deployments. I design networks that work across carriers, locations, and use cases — from a 3-site office to a 15-location national rollout.

Pricing & Proposal Engineering

I build the tools that make complex telecom pricing make sense. Interactive Excel models, normalized carrier comparisons, ROI analyses — the kind of documentation that turns a maybe into a yes.

Operations & Fulfillment

Full lifecycle — from quote to contract to implementation to billing audit. I manage what happens after the handshake: ordering, provisioning, vendor coordination, and making sure the first invoice is actually correct.

Cross-Cultural Communication

Fluent in English and Japanese. Educated in Tokyo. Built a career in New York. I've spent my life translating between languages, cultures, and industries — that's not a soft skill, it's a competitive advantage.

Beyond the Blueprint

I'm a single dad raising an 11-year-old in Brooklyn. We live near Prospect Park. I cook Japanese food to keep the culture alive — she doesn't speak the language yet, but she knows what proper dashi tastes like.

I take the Q train more than I'd like to admit, and I think Brooklyn in the spring is the best place on earth.

The structure I built for her is the same structure I bring to every project I touch.
